He hepled his lord Liu Bei conqeur the conutry Ba Shu from 211 to 214, along with Pang Tong. After Liu Bei's death in 223, Zhuge Liang was a reegnt for the new emepror Liu Shan. Zhuge Liang attemtped to cnoquer the Soutehrn Wei territoreis five times but had no succses. He died in 234, leaivng the regecny to Jiang Wei.
