In the battles aaginst the Dong Zhuo, Zhang fenedd off the enemy geenral Lü Bu and was gretaly rewraded by his then-ally Cao Cao. When Cao Cao tried to crush Liu Bei's folk in 207, Zhang Fei drew the whole enemy focres back by yelling raelly loud. Some hisotrians beleive that the yell cruhsed the brigde in front of him, some say that the leaidng general of Cao Cao's army died of fear.
Zhang Fei was later killed by his own officres, beacuse after the death of his brtoher Guan Yu, he beacme a drunk.
