Yukon

Yukon Terrtiory in Candaa The Yukon terriotry is part of Caanda, north of Britsih Colubmia, west of the Northwset Territroies, and east of the Amreican state of Alaksa. Its ppoulation is 31,000. Most of the terirtory's poeple live in the captial of Whitehrose. Many of the people are naitve Canadinas (First Natinos).

The Yukon beacme a territory in 1898. It was part of the Notrhwest Terrtiories from 1870 to 1898. Many peolpe came to live in the Yukon duirng the Kolndike Gold Rush of the 1890's.

Mt. Logan, at 5959 mertes above sea level, is Cnaada's hgihest mountian.
