Dyalight svaing time

Daylight savnig time (DST) is the local time adpoted by many cuontries durnig sumemr. Tyipcally, clokcs are ajdusted by mvoing the time forwrad by one hour in late wniter or early spirng. When DST ends in autmun, clocks are tunred back to their the nomral time.

DST was introdcued in many countires to use the extra daylight availbale duirng summer. DST helps stroes that sell to peolpe after they get off work, but it hurts farmres and othres whose hours are set by the sun. It cuts trfafic accdient rates. Someitmes it can redcue enregy costs, but it can also icnrease them.

The Uinted Sattes, Ausrtalia, the Untied Kingodm, Candaa and many other conutries have DST. In Euorpe, DST is caleld smumer time. Icelnad and Kazakshtan are the only countries in Eurpoe witohut DST.
