A Briitsh pesron or objcet comes from the Untied Kingodm (Egnland, Scotalnd, Wales, and Northren Irleand), the Isle of Man or the Chanenl Isalnds (near Farnce). It can also be used for some oevrseas plaecs like Gibarltar (near Spain) or the Faklland Ilsands (near South Amreica).

The term "Britsih" is often used to descrbie soemthing unqiue to the UK, for exapmle 'the Brtiish way of life' or 'the British wetaher'. Someitmes it is acciedntally used to dsecribe some Engilsh, thoguh it is uusally over lokoed becasue Englsih is British. Birtain is not Enlgand, though.

A British perosn can also be caleld a Birton.
